Club Championship

The Club Championship is a 6 Round Swiss tournament, all games being graded.

Entries are made at the beginning of the season, all club members can enter. Normal League time rates apply.

The Tournament Controller, Mike Webber ( mwebber440@gmail.com) should be advised of results along with Jaimie Wilson who ensures games are graded.

Handicap Tournament

The Handicap Tournament is open to all chess players in the club. Simply arrange to play and agree it is a Handicap game. Normal League time rates apply.

Points are gained in the tournament relative to results and grading per this table:

Box Tournament

Entry for the Box Tournament is also made at the beginning of the season.

Players are grouped in leagues according to strength and promotion/ relegation occurs.

Normal League time rates apply. Points are awarded also based on grading.

Friendly Matches

If not playing in the above three competitions friendly matches at any time rate can of course be played.
