24 players turned up for the Christmas Buzzer tournament on 18 December 2023.

Festive nibbles were brought by Mike Spence and Steve Smith while Paul White and Bill McDougall acted as tournament controllers.

The first round draw was made out of a hat by each player and we set off in 5 groups at 10 second interval truck horns!

At the break the groups were rearranged and to much joy the time limit was reduced to 8 seconds.

At the Chichester AGM on 14 August Ian Richardson stood down as Club Secretary to warm thanks from the Chairman and the members.

Andrew McDougall was elected the new Club Secretary. Congratulations to Andrew and wishing you success in your new role.

Over the last weekend the English Junior Coaches and Organisers Association ( EJCOA) held the National Youth Final U16/U18/U20 in Nottingham.

Vinuda Gunathilake scored an oustanding win with a 4.5/5 score, defeating many higher grade players on his way to victory.

As Vinuda was only the 18th seed this was a truly great result.
